On August 4th, “AMD EPYC School Technology Tuning Contest - Guangzhou Station” was held successfully. This contest invited large amounts of AMD partners to compete on the stage. Two representatives of Gooxi stood out from numerous outstanding contestants and be awarded the championship in the final on-site competition.

The competition strengthened technicians' in-depth learning of AMD product performance and solutions via online learning training & offline technology optimization competition. Online learning is divided into AMD EPYC product training course and AMD EYPC technology tuning training course . And the trainings are from the basic Roadmap of AMD EPYC processor to the knowledge of process features, naming rules and security, to higher-level different application scenarios (virtualization, super fusion, HPC and other fields). After this course, Gooxi team has become more professional in controlling the EPYC system. Gooxi has laid a solid theoretical foundation in performance optimization, scheme construction and software technology optimization in AMD EPYC servers.

After 8 hours’ fierce competition, Gooxi team won the highest database running score and 100% AVT application completion of the expansion problem respectively in the two competitive topics [C/S Architecture Performance Debugging-Multi-Instance MYSQL Performance Test] & [AMDuprof]. It stood out among all the teams and won the champion of this technical tuning competition. AMD
